Change

J & I are facing a season of change.  The 'c-word' is never easy, often scary, and always a challenge.  Some people thrive on it and some people run from it.  We were placed at a crossroads.  I could continue working in a position in which I thrive, with some truly amazing people that I have grown to love, or we could take a chance on something new.  We gave it much prayer, and came to the conclusion that this is part of His plan for us.  That being said, this is not something that comes easily.  I am excited for this new chapter to begin, but it is very difficult to say goodbye to some truly wonderful people.  I realized today, amid tears, hugs, and well wishes, that I will not be able to articulate the things I need to say in person.

And so, I will say them here.

L-You are such a sweet, warm person.  I have learned so many things from you, your heart for helping others, your quick smile, and your loving spirit.  You have forged a place in my heart, and I consider you such a dear friend.  I will miss you greatly.  I know that today was hard, but this is not goodbye for good.  Kindred spirits are drawn to each other, and I have no doubt that we have a long road ahead of us. :o)

C-You are a sweetheart.  You are so driven, and I have come to rely on you.  You are a rock.  I love that our friendship has grown so quickly.  I know that you will succeed at everything you do.  You are a "do-er", and that translates to those around you.  Also, I really want you to show me how to distress wood!!!  Girls' Night SOON!  :o)

Stace, what can I say?  Your excitement, optimism and cheer touch everyone you meet.  You are an inspiration to me.  You are brilliant, and I know that I am leaving things in fully capable hands.  It has been a joy to work with you, and I am excited for what our future holds.  Don't forget, when things get rough, sometimes you just have to laugh!!!  And I'm only a phone call away.  :o)

My lovely bosses...  It has been a pleasure working with you.  ;o)  It has been so wonderful to work for a couple with the desire to serve people.  Not just in business, but in every way.  I respect you both very much, and will miss seeing you every day.  I have learned so much from you both.  Thank you for opening your lives and hearts to me.

The rest of the Massage Heights gang...I have enjoyed every minute with all of you.  You are an amazing group of people, and trust me, I'll be in to see you very soon!  ;o)

This new venture is something that has been a desire of my heart for a very long time.  I will be working as a Travel Counselor with Cruise Holidays of KC/Comfort Tours & Travel.  God really works in amazing ways.  I already feel a part of the family.  From the get-go, I didn't have a chance.  In a good way.  :o)  Sometimes, God just overwhelms you with direction.  J & I have been simply amazed at His confirmation that this was the right path for us.  We are both so excited for the future and this new chapter of our lives.

I leave you with lyrics from a beautiful song, "Indescribable" sung by Chris Tomlin, written by Laura Story and Jesse Reeves.  This song really portrays our state of feeling as of late:

"Indescribable, uncontainable,
You placed the stars in the sky and You know them by name.
You are amazing God
All powerful, untameable,
Awestruck we fall to our knees as we humbly proclaim
You are amazing God
Indescribable, uncontainable,
You placed the stars in the sky and You know them by name.
You are amazing God
Incomparable, unchangeable
You see the depths of my heart and You love me the same
You are amazing God
You are amazing God"

Love.
